Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka High Court District Judge Recruitment 2023

Application Fee –

• Preliminary Examination Fee: The Candidate shall remit an amount of ₹1,000/-. But, in the case of candidate belonging to SC/ST/Category-I, the fee payable shall be ₹500/-
• Main Examination Fee: shall be payable by each candidate who is successful in the Preliminary Examination and eligible to appear for the Main Examination immediately within 15 (Fifteen) days from the date of announcing the result of the Preliminary Examination, failing which, their candidature will not be considered for Main Examination. The candidate shall remit an amount of ₹1,500/-. But, in the case of candidate belonging to SC/ST/Category-I, the fee payable shall be ₹750/-

Age Limit –

• Must not have attained the age of 48 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes and 45 years in the case of others, as on the last date fixed for receipt of online applications.

Educational Qualification –

• Must be holder of a degree in Law granted by a University established by Law in India;
• Must be practicing as an Advocate in the High Court or in a Subordinate Court on the last date fixed for receipt of applications and must have so practiced for a period not less than SEVEN years as on such date.
